Jake Paul has apologised for accidentally revealing that Molly-Mae Hauge has given birth to her first child with Tommy Fury.
‘The Problem Child’ took to social media on Friday to reveal he will be fighting Tyson Fury’s younger brother in Saudi Arabia on February 26.
However, he also claimed his rival’s baby had been born, something that was news to the world as neither Tommy or his social media influencer girlfriend have publicly announced this.
He wrote: “Tommy has no excuses now…Baby’s born. Money’s massive. Immigration no issue. Tyson promises he and Papa will make Tommy retire from boxing and change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber. [Saturday] I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Fury’s in the eye and shake on that promise.”
Paul later travelled to London to square off with Fury and sit ringside to watch Anthony Yarde’s brave but ultimately unsuccessful attempt to dethrone unified light-heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev.
The 26-year-old acted like he didn’t understand what he had done when he was asked about revealing Tommy and Molly’s baby news before they got the chance to.
Paul told SportBible; “Did I do that? I leaked it? Oh s***. My bad. I’m sorry, Tommy. But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone the gender or anything like that.”
Despite his promise to keep of the baby’s gender a secret, there’s no need to as it’s already common knowledge that Tommy and Molly are expecting a baby girl.
In an interview with the same outlet, Fury claimed he didn’t know what his opponent had said about his family before refusing to comment on the situation any further.
He said: “I didn’t actually see it. It was too busy training in the gym. As in terms of the baby, there’ll be no comment on that.”
Fans of the couple who met on Love Island in 2019 had been speculating about Molly giving birth as the usually active Instagram user has not posted for several days.
They have remained tight-lipped about their growing family despite Paul’s apparent revelation and the subsequent backlash he faced on social media.
