The Vancouver Canucks had an unreal season, outshining what most in the media and the hockey world expected of them. The Canucks went off for 109 points and finished with the third-best record in the Western Conference, all behind an impressive 89-point season by star center Elias Pettersson.
The Predators season didn’t provide the same prolonged success that Vancouver’s saw, but it did have its incredible moments like the 18-point streak that the Predators went on between February and March. On Canucks side, they will be looking to assert themselves early in the post-season as the cup front-runner that many have slated them to be. On the other end, Nashville will look to continue their late-season success with a potential first-round upset of a powerhouse squad.
