WWE Clash at the Castle takes place in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15, 2024, and Drew McIntyre has made a bold prediction.
With McIntyre stating he was being silenced by WWE management, he’s continued his focus on Damian Priest as well as his frequent jabs at CM Punk.
Currently not cleared to compete, McIntyre was pulled from the King of the Ring Tournament with Jey Uso taking his place and making it to the semi-finals before losing out to GUNTHER.
While McIntyre may not be competing at the May 25 WWE King & Queen of the Ring event, he has looked ahead to Clash at the Castle, tweeting:
“If McIntyre loses we riot”
At the time of writing, no matches have been announced for the upcoming PLE at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
CM Punk recently made a comment about “hiding in a bowl of haggis” to attack Drew McIntyre in Glasgow which was referenced by a city official while discussing the event.
The ticket price for WWE Clash at the Castle has seen negative attention within mainstream media.
McIntyre recently signed a new WWE contract and said of his choice to remain in the company: “all that matters is I’m happy”.
The new contract is reportedly for three years, which would take McIntyre to 2027, and is a “big money” deal.
McIntyre stated he suffered a fractured elbow when CM Punk swept his leg after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
