Following his win at WWE WrestleMania 40, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest has discussed wanting to be a workhorse champion.
At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Damian Priest cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
This followed McIntyre defeating Seth Rollins for the title and CM Punk attacking McIntyre in the post match to set up the cash-in.
On the latest edition of the Rob Brown Show, Damian Priest discussed wanting to be a workhorse champion like Seth Rollins. He said:
“I want to be the type of champion that Seth Rollins was, a workhorse. I want to defend the title. I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point.”
“When it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody. I want a piece of everybody. It’s usually the opposite,”
Damian Priest last wrestled in a win over Jey Uso to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash 2024.
