Chelsea started their Premier League campaign off with a loss against Man City two weeks ago, but have since won two on the bounce in all competitions.

And they didn’t exactly look out of their depth against the reigning champs either.

Their latest win came away at Wolves with an emphatic scoreline winning 6-2.

Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring within the first 2 minutes, before Cole Palmer added to his impressive goal tally for the Blues just on the 45th minute mark.

Noni Madueke then scored a quick hattrick with 14 minutes, before Joao Felix scored on his return to the club.

It’s hard to see past Chelsea winning again, against a side who have lost a fair few major players.

They will need to be defensively better like they showed in the second half against Wolves, but they did look under pressure when it became 2-2.

Palace do have some star players to help them in what looks to be a tough season ahead though.

Eberechi Eze scored 11 and assisted five last season from just 24 starts having suffered with a couple of injury spells.

He’s likely to be the star throughout their 2024/25 campaign, if they can keep him, but Chelsea will also have a few chances themselves and the likes of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson are just continuing to be in great form.

Nicolas Jackson took a bit of time to settle in to the Premier League but as soon as he start scoring he didn’t really stop – with 14 goals in 35 appearances last season.

He’s got a goal and an assist in his first two starts to get his 2024/25 campaign off to an encouraging start.
