Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez will return to the boxing ring this weekend to face Edgar Berlanga in a super-middleweight title showdown.
The Mexican is widely considered one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters ever, and he will put his WBC and WBO super-middleweight belts on the line here.
Canelo has lost just two professional bouts in his career and has claimed titles in four different weight classes, so opponents don’t come much tougher.
But Berlanga is a rising star, and this will be his first world title fight after flying up the rankings.
The American boasts a 22-0-0 record, but he’s never fought anyone like Canelo before.
Alvarez vs Berlanga: Date and how to follow
This 12-round super-middleweight clash is set to take place on Saturday, September 14, which is Mexican Independence Day weekend.
It will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The main event ringwalks are scheduled for 11pm local time, which is 4am in the UK on Sunday morning.
The undercard is set to start at 1am UK time.
The fight will be broadcast on DAZN pay-per-view, with a price yet to be decided.
To sign up for the pay-per-view, you must already subscribe to DAZN for £9.99 a month. More here.
talkSPORT will have build-up throughout fight week and talkSPORT.com will have all the reaction.

Alvarez vs Berlanga: What has been said?
Berlanga is confident he can become the first person to knock Canelo out.
Speaking to Fight Hub TV, he said: “I knocked out heavyweights in sparring.
“Guys 230lbs, 240lbs, putting them out.
“I got ex-felons on my team. Guys that did a lot of years in prison. I got that mentality.
“I’m a killer, and he[ex-trainer] implanted that in me. My dad implanted that in me. In that ring, I’m a killer. That’s what I bring.
“I’m ready for everything. September 14th is going to be something. It’s going to be spectacular.
“That’s how respect is going to be gained that night. You [Canelo] bleed like me. You breathe the same air I breathe. You walk on the same earth as I walk on.”
Canelo would have been defending all belts as an undisputed champion if it weren’t for the IBF stripping him of that belt for failing to fight William Scull.
And ahead of this fight, he’s been speaking about losing the IBF belt.
He said: “There are levels. There are stars and there are superstars. They make the championship, not the championship makes them.
“Who is William Scull? I never hear about him. I’m not gonna do whatever they want.
“I’m gonna do whatever I want. Because I deserve it, because of all I have done.”
