A new match has been added to the lineup for tonight’s NXT.
Lexis King vs. Baron Corbin is now scheduled for the show.
Yesterday, WWE posted a video of King attempting to give Corbin a parting gift, as he assumed Corbin would be leaving NXT now that his tag partner Bron Breakker is on the main roster.
“I don’t know where you heard that. I think what you’re hearing is there are a lot of people out there that are saying they hope I leave NXT,” Corbin responded to King.
“I just thought maybe you were having second thoughts now that your buddy Bron is up on SmackDown living the high life. I mean, sheesh, it’s gotta be rough, man,” King said. “Anyway, you should probably just strap your wagon onto the next second-generation superstar that comes your way, and he’ll probably be a bigger and better star but, I tell you what, I accept and you’re welcome.”
“That dude is a tool bag and there’s no way that beard is real,” Corbin finished the segment saying.
