Fernando Alonso has been called to see Formula 1 stewards for an incident involving Carlos Sainz during the Chinese Grand Prix sprint.
The Aston Martin driver must attend the stewards at 12:15 local time – 05:15 UK time – for the Turn 7 incident late in the race that saw the two cars make contact.
Alonso received a puncture and did not finish the race after holding Sainz, Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris up in a DRS train, with the Ferrari finally squeezing through.
