Floyd Mayweather will continue his exhibition boxing career in a highly-anticipated rematch with John Gotti III next weekend.
‘Money’ first fought Gotti, the grandson of former New York crime boss John Gotti, in June 2023 before the bout ended in a mass brawl.
Referee Kenny Bayliss stopped the fight in round six for consistent holding but an already disqualified Gotti attempted to keep fighting.
Gotti’s antics, which led mass brawl when people stormed the ring, also saw him slapped with a six-month suspension.
Having served his ban, the pair were due to rematch in February on Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas.
However, it was postponed to late summer and will now take place in Mexico.

Mayweather vs Gotti 2: What has been said?
Terence Crawford recently revealed the elite mindset he shares with Mayweather as he moves within nine wins of the icon’s 50-0 record.
“I’m kind of lame, I don’t gamble, I don’t party, I don’t drink, I’ve never smoked, nothing,” Crawford told Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Asked whether other boxers do the same, Crawford replied: “The only person I can honestly say besides the partying is Floyd Mayweather because he didn’t drink or smoke.
“He would party but he would go and run six miles after he partied at 4 o’clock in the morning.”
