Friday is a quieter day on the football scene but there is some action from Ireland and in Belgium.

Bet of the Day
Bohemians to beat Dundalk @ Evs
Dundalk are in major trouble at the wrong end of the League of Ireland Premier Division table and the Lilywhites’ worries are unlikely to ease when they make the trip to Bohemians on Friday night.
Jon Daly’s men have been woeful on the road this season, winning only one of their 12 top-flight away matches and scoring just nine goals.
Dundalk were turned over at Drogheda, who are the only side keeping the Lilywhites off the foot of the table, in the FAI Cup last week and it is hard to see how Daly’s men can get a result at Dalymount Park.
Bohs picked up a confidence-boosting victory against Shelbourne in the cup on Friday and Alan Reynolds’ side can build on that success by getting the better of Dundalk.
Longshot of the day
Drogheda to beat Waterford @ 7/4
Waterford have won eight of their last 12 Premier Division matches, but the Blues have been pretty fortunate on that run and Keith Long’s men could come unstuck at Drogheda.
The Munster outfit have won four of their last seven top-flight games, but they have lost the shot count in six of those outings and the Blues made hard work of beating Inishowen Football League side Cockhill Celtic in the cup on Friday.
Christie Pattison, Kyle White, Maleace Asamoah and Rowan McDonald remain sidelined for Waterford and they are travelling to a Drogheda side who are fighting to save their tier-one status.
The Drogs have a strong chance of upsetting Waterford judging by their excellent 2-1 cup victory over Dundalk on Friday.
Special of the day
Club Brugge to win to nil @ 29/20
Club Brugge were rock-solid at the Jan Breydel Stadium last season, losing only one Belgian Pro League game on home soil, and the Blue and Blacks can start the new campaign as they left the old.
Nicky Hayen’s men conceded only 14 goals in 15 league home games last term and they open against a Mechelen outfit who scored the fewest goals of any of the top-eight sides in the Belgian top flight.
Only six teams scored fewer than Mechelen’s 17 league away goals last term and the Cocks may struggle to make an impact on their trip to Bruges.
