Emma Raducanu landed a monumental victory over Diane Parry to seal Great Britain’s qualification into the Billie Jean King Cup.
The 21-year-old lost the first set, before winning the next two to land a 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) win over her French opponent.
It comes after Katie Boulter beat Clara Burel 7-5 6-0 to give Team GB a 2-1 lead.
And it was up to Raducanu on clay to claim victory, coming after a tense ending where the Brit gave up two match points before Parry broke back and then levelled the scores to go 5-5.
The gruelling game went on, with Raducanu forcing Parry to serve to stay in the match, showing a steely determination to take it into a tie-break.
And it was Raducanu that roared to victory as she won 7-1 to spark wild celebrations from Great Britain.
