Everton are close to completing a £10m deal for Aston Villa starlet Tim Iroegbunam.
Meanwhile, Villa are set to sign Everton winger Lewis Dobbin in a separate deal.
Midfielder Iroegbunam, 20, made 15 appearances for Aston Villa last season as they secured a Champions League finish in the Premier League.
He spent the season before on-loan to QPR, with the side finishing 20th in the EFL Championship.
With the youngster now keen to break into regular first-team football, the move to Sean Dyche’s Toffees should fit his ambitions well.
Meanwhile, Everton-academy graduate Dobbin has made 20 appearances for Everton since 2021.

The 21-year-old spent the 2022/23 season on loan to Derby County where he scored five goals in 54 appearances.
He scored once in 15 appearances for Sean Dyche’s side last season, as they secured a 15th place finish in the Premier League.
But the Merseyside club are set to let the forward go move to Villa Park this summer.
Both Iroegbunam and Dobbin have featured for England’s youth teams, with the former make six appearances for the Under-19s and seven for the Under-20s.
Meanwhile, Dobbin has featured at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level, scoring eight international goals across all age groups.
It is a double deal that would give a boost to the financial positions of both clubs given the ongoing anxieties of complying with the Premier League’s FFP rules.
