The May 17 episode of WWE Raw saw one star dramatically ‘quit’ and another make his return from injury to challenge Damian Priest.
After his loss at WWE Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland, Drew McIntyre came to the ring to address the crowd.
With “CM Punk” chants in full flow, McIntyre said very little, instead choosing to say:
“You know what, I can’t do this anymore. Screw this company, I quit.”
With McIntyre heading backstage, he took issue with Triple H’s recent comments about CM Punk.
Elsewhere on the show, Seth Rollins made his on-screen return having suffered an injury that has seen him absent since WrestleMania 40.
During his return, which can be seen below this news story, Rollins received an offer from Judgment Day’s Damian Priest for a World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank.
Rollins has reacted to his return at WWE Raw with a message to the fans, tweeting:
“Always and forever, Monday Night Rollins.”
WWE Money in the Bank takes place on July 6, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Last night’s WWE Raw also saw the return of Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy leading the Wyatt Sicks.
