Eddie Hall will continue his combat sports career – and has received offers in both MMA and boxing.
Hall has fought in both disciplines, making his squared circle debut in a defeat to fellow strongman Thor Bjornsson in March 2022.
‘Beast’ then made his debut in a bizarre cage appearance, beating Jamil and Jemel Naffati in a 2 vs 1 fight, leaving one of his opponents face down on the canvas.
The 36-year-old is now retired from being a strongman, and has suggested he has held talks with a number of outfits including KSI’s Misfits Boxing.
He told Michael Bisping prior to his latest win: “I’ve been talking to loads of different outfits, talking to Misfits, talking to Russian and Polish MMA outfits for a fight.
“The idea being to do this [2 vs 1 win] and hopefully it will lead to more fights.
“It has exactly done that, people have heard and people have made whispers.
“I have had loads of people now approaching me with good offers so it has obviously done the job.”
After the final bell of his quickfire win, Hall grabbed hold of the microphone and issued a call-out to fellow strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski.
“Listen, I don’t want to say names right now,” he said after the fight.
“I think someone like Mariusz Pudzianowski, he’s got 20 years experience in the game.
“He’s still a big guy, still very strong and he is a hard b******, there’s no denying that Pudzianowski is very hard.
“I think the fans want to see a ‘World’s Strongest Man’ vs ‘World’s Strongest Man’, so there we go.
“If someone can bring the right deal to the table, I know Mariusz is game.
“He’s always in my inbox sending me fighting emojis, so maybe this is it.”
Pudianowski is known alongside Hall for his achievements in strongman competition as a five-time World’s Strongest Man, but has also had 26 professional MMA fights.
The 27-year-old has been plying his trade in Polish promotion KSW, and lost to Artur Szpilka last time out in June 2023.
Misfits Boxing could be a likely destination for Hall, given the sizeable platform given for celebrities to box by YouTube star KSI.
Of course, the former World’s Strongest Man’ will be at heavyweight, but could be tempted into a shot against a fellow strongman.
Hall was set to compete in an MMA tournament alongside friend and fellow fitness athlete Martyn Ford, but it collapsed at the last minute.
