Jude Bellingham became a Champions League winner with Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday night.
Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior scored in the last 16 minutes as Madrid claimed European football’s biggest prize for the 16th time.
It completes a remarkable debut season for Bellingham, who scored 19 goals in 28 matches and won LaLiga Player of the Season as Madrid also bagged the Spanish top-flight title.
However, the Bernabeu giants will consider themselves lucky after a dominant Dortmund missed a host of chances in the first-half of the Champions League final at Wembley.
Working on punditry for TNT Sports, legendary manager Jose Mourinho was proven right when assessing the first-half.
Mourinho said: “It’s very rare for a team to have this many chances in a game of this level.
“Dortmund will regret their missed chances because in the second half Real Madrid can only improve.”
