Jake Paul has assured fans that his fight with Mike Tyson is still going ahead.
The pair are scheduled to meet in a highly-controversial bout on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
However, rumours began to circulate online that the fight had been cancelled after ‘Iron Mike’ suffered a ‘mid-air medical issue’ during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.
Paul insists there is no validity to such claims and affirms their fight is still set to go ahead as planned.
Taking to X, on Tuesday, Paul posted: “You love to make s*** up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes. Nothing changed.”
According to Tyson’s representatives, the health scare occurred when he ‘became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing.’

A passenger on the flight told In Touch Magazine, that a 25-minute disembarking delay followed their arrival at LAX airport as paramedics tended to Tyson.
“Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded,” said the eyewitness.
“Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor — the message even came on everyone’s screens.
“Then our screens said medical assistance needed and repeated the same thing. He was in first class, but we were in an exit row, and the stewardess was very chatty.
“They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter. She said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he’s OK.’
“I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded her head yes.”
Thankfully, Tyson’s publicist has since confirmed that the former undisputed heavyweight champion has made a full recovery and is ‘doing great’.
After much deliberation, it has been confirmed that Paul vs Tyson will be a professional bout.
Despite the staggering 30-year age gap between the pair, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation have sanctioned the crossover clash under their auspices.
The last time Tyson boxed in the paid ranks was all the way back in June 2005 when he retired on his stool at the end of the sixth round against Kevin McBride.
In stark contrast, Paul has been actively competing as a pro boxer for the past four years and has ten (9-1) pro bouts to his name.
