Off the back of WrestleMania 40, The Rock has received nearly 100,000 stock shares from WWE parent company TKO.
The Rock had appeared on WWE TV for several weeks in the buildup to WrestleMania, as well as both nights of Mania including a match on night one, and he then appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania as well.
In a new SEC filing, TKO confirmed that, on April 7, Rock, who is on the company’s Board of Directors, received 96,558 stock shares.
This was subject to “completion of certain services” described in his WWE contract that was signed on January 22, 2024, which obviously were completed and the transaction went through as planned.
As of the closing stock price on April 9, that number of stock shares was worth $9,414,405.
The Rock now has a total of 193,116 TKO shares following the transaction.
On Raw, he stated he’ll be going away again for a while, but made it clear he’ll be returning at some point for a match against Cody Rhodes.
