A new version of Arsenal’s third kit has been leaked and fans are very much relieved.
In March, the Gunners alleged third strip for next season caused uproar among the fan base, with it’s sky blue colour leading them to say it looked like they were ‘trying to be Manchester City’.
That didn’t go down too well, given Man City have pipped Arsenal to the Premier League title two years in a row.
But now, a new leak has emerged online, and supporters are pleased to see the strip has steered away from being their rivals’ colours.
The black trimming around the colour from the other leak still remains, but has been extended to the bottom of the sleeves, too.
The vintage cannon crest is still there too, as is the adidas logo.
The sky blue is still on the kit, but it’s been blended in with a lilac to make it less dominant.
According to the post, the photo he posted is aN authentic version of the women’s edition of it.
And it’s gone down a treat with supporters.
“I don’t just want this, I NEED it!” one fan wrote on X.
“So much better than the leak,” a second added.
Meanwhile a third had a slightly more alternative view of it.
“Sulley from Monsters Inc,” the fan said, referring to the colours of the Pixar character Sulley.
Despite its bright colours, this kit isn’t quite as out there as Arsenal’s away kit from 2023/24 – the neon green strip with the black pattern.
But unlike that kit, Gunners fans will be hoping this new strip will be one they’ll be wearing when they cheer them on to clinch the title next season.
