The Premier League season comes to an end this weekend and all teams are set for a huge payday.
Manchester City and Arsenal are still competing for the title with the reigning champions looking set to claim their fourth consecutive top-flight trophy.
Pep Guardiola’s side are aiming for silverware but also a bigger cut of the cash while the rest of the league jostles for their best possible finish in the table.
Here, talkSPORT.com breaks down the prize money for each position in the Premier League…
Premier League prize money
Each place in the Premier League is worth an estimated £3.1million.
The top-flight hands out merit payments which are determined by where each team finishes in the table.

Last year, for winning the title, Man City won £62.3million while Arsenal were awarded £59.1million for coming second.
That prize money decreases by around £3million for each position with third getting £56million and fourth receiving £52.9million and so on.
Southampton, who finished bottom in 2022/23, received just the £3.1million in the end.
It is expected to be a similar merit payout from the Premier League this year.
Alongside the payments per position in the top-flight, clubs also receive a set amount from domestic and international broadcast agreements.
The domestic payment is equal for all teams and they receive a whopping £31million each.
Clubs also receive around £63million from overseas deals and they also get paid £478,000 per position in the table starting at the lowest figure for 20th place.
That means last season, Man City would have received around £9.5million in merit payments from overseas.
All teams also get a central payment of £6million while further rewards depend on how many times they are broadcast on TV.
For each game broadcast live, clubs are paid around £1.2million.
Taking into account all of the TV money last year, Man City received over £143million in total while Arsenal claimed £141million.
Even the teams that were relegated went down with over £100million each.
