- Erling Haaland to score 2+ goals Only Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe of players in Europe’s top five leagues have scored more goals in all competitions than Haaland, whose four goals against Wolves 10 days ago took him to 36 goals for the campaign
- Pedro Porro to be booked Destiny Udogie is the only Spurs defender to have committed more fouls this season than Porro, who will be fired up to impress whilst coming up against old club
- Phil Foden to have 1+ shot on target The Englishman is enjoying his most profitable season in front of goal, scoring his 25th goal of the season against Fulham on Saturday, including six in his last four league games
Manchester City make the trip to Tottenham on Tuesday night knowing that wins in their final two matches will see them crowned Premier League champions for the sixth team in seven seasons.
Should Pep Guardiola’s side lift the Premier League trophy on Sunday afternoon, the Manchester side will also become the first team in English history to ever win four consecutive league titles.
The Citizens make the trip to the capital having won each of their last eight domestic matches, leaving them still on course with a domestic double, having won the European treble last season.
Arsenal’s win at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon saw the Gunner reclaim top spot in the league from Man City, but victory at Spurs on Tuesday would see the defending champions open up a two point gap at the top of the table ahead of Sunday’s final day of the season.
At the time of writing, Tottenham still have an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season, but will need to win each of their final two matches and hope that Aston Villa ideally don’t pick up more than one point from their last couple of games.
Ange Postecoglou’s side head into the new week in fifth place, four points shy of Villa with two games to play, thought the latter are in action on Monday night against Liverpool and will seal their place in the Champions League next season with a win.
Even a fifth-placed finish for Spurs this season, and qualification for the Europa League, would signal a successful season for the north London side, who finished eighth in the last campaign and missed out on European football altogether.
Tottenham head into Tuesday night’s bout having got back to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Burnley, succumbing them to relegation, after the north London side had lost each of their previous four matches.
Spurs have won only one of their last four meetings with Manchester City, but hold an impressive record at home against the defending champions in the league, winning each of their last four games against City, who haven’t managed to score a league goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
