Man United vs Arsenal: Team news
Bruno Fernandes missed the first game of his career through injury against Palace.
The United captain joined Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford on the sidelines while Scott McTominay was also ruled out.
Jonny Evans is one of the only fit centre-backs at the club with Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof out while Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Anthony Martial are also injured.
However, there is some good news for the Red Devils as Lisandro Martinez has returned to training along with Rashford, and they are likely to be involved in some way, while Fernandes should be fit.
As for Arsenal, they have a fully fit squad with Jurrien Timber back in training.
Timber is returning from eight months out though, so isn’t expected to play any part in this game at Old Trafford.
Man United vs Arsenal
Hello and welcome to talkSPORT.com’s live blog of Manchester United vs Arsenal at Old Trafford!
Arsenal will be aiming to pile the misery on Man United this afternoon as the Red Devils come off the back of an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace which kept them eighth in the table.
Erik ten Hag’s side collapsed at Selhurst Park and were battered by the Eagles, setting them up for their worst-ever Premier League finish.
They will need a win against the Gunners to help prevent that, but Mikel Arteta’s men have won four in a row and must keep winning to have a chance of lifting the title.
Manchester City beat Fulham on Saturday, meaning a defeat here for Arsenal sets up City to claim their fourth-straight crown later this week.
