Richarlison appeared to be in good spirits despite injury as he waved his own flag in front of adoring Tottenham fans.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed that the striker has missed their clash against Burnley, live on talkSPORT 2, due to a calf injury.
He was also left out of Brazil’s squad for the Copa America, so there are fears over whether he’ll play again before the end of the season.
Despite his latest fitness woe, Richarlison was still in attendance for Spurs’s game against Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ahead of kick-off, he took the time to say hello to fans pitchside and many noticed that he was limping as he walked around.
Richarlison then spotted his own flag in the crowd, one that depicts his pigeon dance celebration on top of the Spurs crest.
He asked for it to be passed down and once grabbing hold of it, he proudly waived it in the air to draw cheers from on-watching fans.
Should Richarlison be out of action for the final weeks, he will have called an end to his best scoring campaign for the club.
The 27-year-old only netted on three occasions last season but his current tally stands at 12 in all competitions over 31 appearances.
He has also provided four assists for his teammates, with Richarlison now seemingly fitting in well in north London.
The striker’s contributions could prove to have a huge impact on their search for Champions League football, with Spurs sitting fifth.
Recent form has impacted their progress though as they four defeats in as many games have left them seven points off Aston Villa.
It therefore leaves them with lots of work to do in their final three games but beating Burnley would mark a strong start.
Should they go on to win, Villa would have to beat Liverpool on Monday to fully seal a top four finish, with Spurs then left to play for Europa League qualification.
