Anthony Ogogo made a triumphant return to AEW on Saturday night.
The former professional boxer made a surprise appearance at the end of a tag team match featuring WWE legend Chris Jericho at AEW Collision.
Jericho got the tap with his famed Walls of Jericho submission to earn him and his partner, HOOK, a big win over Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty.
As the victorious pair celebrated in the ring, Ogogo ambushed them from behind and delivered an almighty beating to mark his first AEW television appearance since 2022.
Taylor and Moriarty re-entered the ring and held Jericho in place as the Englishman delivered a one-punch knockout blow before throwing a flag over his lifeless body.
Ogogo wrote alongside footage of his AEW return on social media: “Heavyweight power, middleweight speed. I’ll hit you so hard it’ll make your insides bleed!”

The 35-year-old was hoping to become the next big thing in professional boxing after winning a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
However, his 12-1 career was plagued by injuries, and he ultimately walked away from boxing in 2019 after spending three years trying to recover from an eye issue.
Despite being 78 per cent blind in his left eye, Ogogo has become a successful actor, podcaster, and professional wrestler since leaving his first sport behind.
“I’ve still got goals I want to achieve in the wrestling world,” he told talkSPORT.com in February.
“I’m with AEW in America and I’m trying to get back in with them.
“I’ve been out of favour for a little bit. I’m out on the indies right now wrestling around the world and reminding them what they have got on their roster.
“AEW are coming back to Wembley Stadium in August. I really want to be on the card. I can’t wait to wrestle again for AEW in London.”
Just a couple of months later, ‘The Guv’nor’ seems to be back in favour with AEW and poised to begin a storyline that could culminate in a massive fight at England’s national stadium this summer.
Ogogo continues to prove that there’s life after boxing as his wrestling career continues to go from strength to strength.
