- Arsenal to win The Gunners climbed to the top of the Premier League on Saturday with their sixth win in their last seven
- Harry Kane to score The England striker has scored 38 goals in 37 matches since signing for Bayern Munich last summer
- Jamal Musiala to have 1+ shot on target The German playmaker has scored four in his last five league games and is Bayern’s second top scorer this season
Arsenal head into the first leg of their Champions League quarter final tonight having won six of their last seven games, their most recent of which, a 3-0 win at Brighton, took them top of the Premier League table with just seven matches left to play.
The Gunners are taking part in their first Champions League quarter final tie in 14 years, but head into their tie with the German champions as favourites due to the north London side enjoying a fantastic campaign.
Mikel Arteta’s side reached the last eight of this season’s premier European club competition by beating PSV, Lens and Sevilla to top spot in Group B, before beating Porto on penalties in their last 16 tie.
Arsenal have won each of their last six home matches in all competitions ahead of tonight’s match, and will be confident of taking a lead back to Munich next week as their fans dream of what could be a famous domestic double.
Bayern Munich make the trip to the English capital having lost each of their last two matches, including giving up a 2-0 lead on Saturday in a 3-2 defeat to Heidenheim, which has all but confirmed the club missing out on winning the league title for the first time in 12 years.
Saturday’s defeat leaves Thomas Tuchel’s side 16 points behind Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga, with just six matches of the league season remaining.
With the Bavarian side also out of the DFB Pokal, the Champions League is the only competition they still have a chance of winning, so will likely be putting all of their eggs in their European basket and avoiding a first trophyless season since 2012.
The German champions have reached the last eight of the Champions League by finishing top of Group A, ahead of Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Manchester United, winning five of their six matches before beating Lazio in the last 16.
Bayern Munich have won each of their last three matches against Arsenal, losing just one of their last six against the Gunners, while also losing in just one of their five visits to the Emirates Stadium.
