Tony Khan has commented on the official status of MJF in AEW after Adam Cole made his return at tonight’s Dynasty pay-per-view.
In the post-AEW Dynasty media scrum Tony Khan was asked about the potential return of MJF to All Elite Wrestling.
Noting the absence of the former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Tony Khan said:
“MJF, one of the biggest stars in AEW, we haven’t seen him in recent months, and I would love to get MJF back here soon, sooner than later, really soon…
“Everything’s going so great for AEW right now, and that would be something that would add a lot.
“That’d be awesome to have MJF back, and soon. I would love that.”

Earlier at AEW Dynasty on pay-per-view, Roderick Strong retained his International Championship over Kyle O’Reilly with Adam Cole appearing to celebrate after the match.
Cole was no longer in a wheelchair or on crutches, marking the first time he was seen walking on his own in AEW since September 2023.
