Another AEW title change occurred on tonight’s Dynasty pay-per-view on April 21 as the big event in St. Louis continues.
At AEW Dynasty, Julia Hart put her TBS Championship on the line against Willow Nightingale.
During the entrance it was revealed that Willow Nightingale selected the stipulation that Skye Blue and Kris Statlander were banned from ringside, sending Stat to the back.
Stokely Hathaway however was on hand, appearing as the fourth man on the commentary team for the match.
After a match that went just over six minutes, Willow Nightingale picked up the victory and became the brand new TBS Champion.
Afterwards, Willow’s celebration in the ring with Statlander and Stokely Hathaway was interrupted by the arrival of Mercedes Mone.
The segment would end with Willow holding up her newly won title over the head of Mone before continuing to celebrate with her family.
Mercedes Mone would be seen glaring from the ramp as it was officially confirmed that she would challenge Nightingale for the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing next month in Las Vegas.
Earlier on the Zero Hour, the Bang Bang Gang (Jay White and Colten & Austin Gunn) beat the team of Billy Gunn, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens to become the new AEW Trios Champions and unify the ROH and AEW Trios titles.
Elsewhere at Dynasty so far, Kazuchika Okada retained the Continental Title against Pac, and Roderick Strong retained the International Title against Kyle O’Reilly.
