Eberechi Eze sent a timely reminder to Gareth Southgate after scoring a stunning acrobatic effort on Sunday afternoon.
The Crystal Palace star was facing West Ham at Selhurst Park and was clearly in the mood to make an impression during an emphatic 5-2 win.
Michael Olise opened the scoring for Palace, before Eze stole the show with a glorious finish.
With Jean-Philippe Mateta’s effort being blocked by Lukasz Fabianski, the ball went up in the air, leading the former Queens Park Rangers star to pull off an outrageous finish to slam the ball home.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Ian Abrahams said: “I defy you to find a better goal anywhere in Europe this weekend than what we’ve just seen from Eberechi Eze.
“Zouma, five or 10 yards outside his own area gives the ball away sloppily to Michael Olise. Olise outside the area slipped in Mateta – his effort is blocked by Fabianski.

“The ball bounces up and, I kid you not, the ball is shoulder-high and he launches himself off the floor and with his right foot, he acrobatically slams it into the roof of the net.
“It’s an unbelievable goal.
“People have forgotten about this kid for England, but don’t forget about him. He is a player.”
Things then got even better for Palace as an own goal from Emerson Palmieri made it 3-0 after just 20 minutes.
The ball was played into the box with Palmieri stretching out a tentative leg at the far post to prod it past Fabianski.
Abrahams added: “It goes from bad to worse – this is an absolute calamity.
“West Ham were brilliant on Thursday, shocking on Sunday!”
Mateta then made it 4-0 after the half-hour mark, before Michail Antonio clawed one back just before half-time.
Mateta then scored another to put Palace firmly in control, however a Tyrick Mitchell own goal did act as mild consolation for the Hammers.
