In order to do that, you have to make the right starts, especially at running back and wide receiver. Whether it’s a bye week or injury fill-in, or you’re looking for bargain plays in daily fantasy lineups, here are ten deep running back sleepers.

10. Darrynton Evans, Chicago Bears

Darrynton Evans seemingly leapfrogged Travis Ebner for the Khalil Herbert role in Chicago’s offense last week, rushing nine time for 34 yards. While David Montgomery still remains the obvious lead back on the Bears, there is room for more work in a run-heavy offensive scheme.

Evans showed glimpses of his potential in his two years in Tennessee, but he has never been given a regular opportunity in an offense. This may be the closest thing to that for Evans, and he’s an intriguing name to keep an eye on this week since the Bears like to rotate two running backs rather than relying on one.

9. Kenneth Gainwell, Philadelphia Eagles

Kenneth Gainwell had his best game of the season in last week’s Sunday Night Football win, rushing eight times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Though he’s still playing well behind Miles Sanders, Gainwell sees consistent playing time for another run-heavy offense.

This week, the Eagles take on the Tennessee Titans, who have been a good defense against the run this season. However, Philly’s run game has been tough to stop this season, and Gainwell’s increased development is something to keep an eye on. He’s a dart throw for DFS lineups with touchdown upside.
