The Netherlands face the lowest-ranked team left in Euro 2024, Turkey, in the last of the quarter-final ties this weekend.
The Dutch emphatically returned to form with a convincing last-16 win over Romania before Turkey stunned Austria.
Ronald Koeman’s side looked on course for a quick reunion with Ralf Rangnick’s men, who beat them 3-2 last week in a result that saw them top Group D ahead of Oranje and France.
However, world No. 42 Turkey, the only nation outside the top 20 still in the competition, eliminated Austria to face Netherlands instead.
The winner of this clash will set up a semi-final showdown with either England or Switzerland on the more favourable side of the draw.

Netherlands vs Turkey: Team news
Ajax star Steven Bergwijn was a surprise starter against Romania but was hooked at half-time and is unlikely to keep his place here.
In his place, Borussia Dortmund’s Donyell Malen scored twice and has surely done enough to join Memphis Depay and Gakpo in attack.
That is likely to be the only Dutch change, with Koeman boasting a clean bill of health and no suspensions in his squad.
Turkey meanwhile can welcome back captain Hakan Calhanoglu and defender Samet Akaydin after both players served one-match bans.
In contrast, midfield duo Orkun Kokcu and Ismail Yuksek each received their second cautions of Euro 2024 and are now sidelined.
Netherlands vs Turkey: What has been said?
Netherlands boss Koeman has warned his players to maintain their level from their win over Romania if they want to reach the final.
“The final result is always the most important thing,” he said. “But this is the level. If we go down [from this], we don’t reach the final.
“Even today the start was difficult but finally we found our positions and we scored a first great goal by [Cody] Gakpo. The one critical point was that it took too long to score the second.
“Something it’s difficult to explain is why one time you play badly and one time you are sharp. Maybe it’s what happens from the beginning that makes the difference.
“I think we can still improve a lot, if you want to be critical after a nice afternoon.”
