Scotland will kick off Euro 2024 this Friday night when they play the opening match of the tournament against Germany.
After enjoying a historic qualification campaign, the Tartan Army are heading straight into action in Group A against the hosts.
Scotland face a tough task to start before facing Switzerland and Hungary as they look to progress through the group stages.
Steve Clarke’s side will be itching for an improved effort at the Euros compared to three years ago when they finished bottom of Group D.
But three-time European champions Germany are one of the major tournament favourites as they play on their own patch.
‘Die Mannschaft’ have struggled at every competition since their 2014 World Cup triumph, but have won their last three against Scotland and will be hopeful of another to begin on a high note.

Germany vs Scotland: What has been said?
Scotland manager Clarke wants his side to give their all at Euro 2024 as they aim to progress through the group stages.
“It would be nice to come out of the group having been competitive, not because of historical reasons,” he said.
“Then you can get to knockout football and take your chances.
“It is a team that can improve a little bit more on what they have done so far.
“Hopefully, that includes qualification from a group.”
