Arsenal vs Manchester United: What has been said?
Gunners boss Arteta was asked about a couple of transfer stories in the aftermath of the Bournemouth game.
Emile Smith Rowe wasn’t involved against the Cherries, and talkSPORT understands that Fulham are confident of signing the England international for £35 million.
When asked about Smith Rowe, Arteta said: “There are things happening in the background so we felt it was best not to use him.”
The Spaniard was also asked about the impending arrival of Riccardo Calafiori, but he wouldn’t be drawn into it.
He said: “There is no update. As soon as we have something to say, we will say. You know I don’t like talking about external players.”
